Arch. Claudio Baudone
Born in Sarzana – Italy. He graduated in Architecture in 1976, from the University of Florence, and in 1981 co-founded the Studio Orsanmichele with Bernardo Bernardi.
From 1980 to 1985 he worked for the National Bureau for Architectural Heritage in Pisa. His concern for the restoration and conservation of historical architecture has inspired his focus on projects of renovation and re-use of legacy buildings, in Florence and around Tuscany.
In 1995, together with civil engineer Claudio Borri, work began on housing and retail projects in Berlin – Germany.
In 1998 Baudone opened the Studio’s Egyptian office in Cairo, producing primarily interior design projects for hotels and Nile cruise ships.
Years of professional activity abroad has reinforced interests in his home territory, in Liguria and Tuscany, where he continues the realization of housing, industrial facilities and commercial buildings.
